Application Process
Step 1: Application
Before applying to Little Oaks, we encourage you to read through the website, especially the parent information available.
To apply for Little Oaks, please complete the Little Oaks Nursery School Application Form.
You will be notified within 7 days of applying of the status of your application.
If there are no spaces available at the time of application, you will be placed on the waiting list according to the date your application was received – you will be informed as soon as a spot becomes available.
Admission is dependent on Little Oaks’ capacity, diversity, fit and available resources. Preference for admission is given to siblings of previous Little Oaks students. In most cases, Little Oaks is not equipped with the facilities, staff, or resources to accommodate children with special needs. Acceptance of children with barriers to learning and special needs will be evaluated at our discretion, according to what is in the best interest of all children, and what will ensure the best possible environment for the child to thrive.
Little Oaks reserves the right to accept or reject any application – submitting an application form does not automatically confirm a placement.
Step 2: School Visit
Once you have submitted your application form, and should we have availability, we will be in touch to set up an appointment to visit the school. This gives you a chance to view the premises, meet the teacher and answer any questions you may have.
Please bring your little one along with you for your school visit, as it would be good to meet them before their first day of school, should they start at Little Oaks.
Step 3: Admissions
You will be notified within 7 days of your school visit, as to whether or not your little one has been offered a space at Little Oaks. Acceptance or refusal of placement ultimately remains at the discretion of the owner of the school.
Step 4: Confirmation of Enrollment
Once your application has been processed and a position has been offered to you via email confirmation, you will be asked to complete an indemnity form and pay your enrollment and school fees. You will have 7 days from receipt of the enrollment offer, to make payment and submit all supporting documents, to secure your spot. If after 7 days, we have not received these, your position will be revoked and you will be placed on a waiting list for the next available space.

Aftercare
Aftercare is available from 12:00 – 13:00, at an additional rate of R40 per hour, per day, and is available as per demand.
Early morning care is available from 08:00 – 08:30, at an additional rate of R25, per day, and is available as per demand.
